On Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, Haiti was hit with a big earthquake with the magnitude of 7.0. Several landmarks buildings were damaged or destroyed. About 3 million people that are living there were affected by it.

With the help of Baller’s Sports Bar & Grill, as of today, we had collected over 3,500 lbs of food, medicines, walker, 2 set of crutches, and a mattress set. We will continue to do our part to help others in need.

Today was a really sad day for us. Street soldiers have a great emptiness in all of our hearts. 5-0 was always the one that was smiling and laughing and would bring smiles and laughs to all of us. I miss you brother, I really do, and I speak for all of us saying that we will miss you but won’t forget you. You have left a big hole in our hearts but you will always be on our hearts. I love you man and we all do. I know that from up there you will ALWAYS be your brothers keeper and a Street Soldier.

Apu Memorial Run

On Monday October 5, 2009 we had a memorial run to honor the memory of a fallen friend Rafael “Apu” Avila who passed away October 5, 2007. We extend our warmest thanks to those who attended and appreciate your support.

Biketoberfest 2009

The Street Soldiers are doing it again. We are heading up to Daytona Beach to have some fun in the sun, as well in the dark. The dates are October 15th through 18th. We’ll be showing our colors all over from Main Street to International Speedway.

This year, Mystique from Florida Burners is teaming up with Maravilla Productions to present Sport Biketobertfest on October 17th. There will be contests & trophies handed out. It’s an all day event and the location is The Coliseum.

Supporting Other Clubs

These past few months The Street Soldiers had gone to a few events, supporting other clubs, and taken some trophies home. As what Coach stated: “In this motorcycle world, we are just a group of riders on top of a head of a pin.” Here’s a list of what we took home:

1st through the door & a plaque for always supporting them- LOD

Great job Soldiers. There are more parties, bike washes, and annuals to come.
